Read the story of your family, told by your family

The letters and postcards that your grandparents were receiving from their Italian relatives are the voice of your family, and this voice is telling you about other relatives, about work, events, war, about poorness and richness. And revealing, besides facts, your ancestors’ feelings and character.

I will translate in English the old, handwritten letters in Italian, even if they are grammarly poor, misspelled or with words in dialect.

On request, I will also transcribe the letters, so that you can read the original text on a Word file.

I will contact the Town Hall, the Parish or any other Italian archive and request the certificates you need. I will chase them and make sure they send me what requested. When I receive the documents, I will first send you a scan and then the original documents by an express courier.

Important: this service is only available if you know the birth town and birth year of your ancestor.
