SEARCHING ON THE WEB… sometimes it’s not so easy as it seems

Can you really discover your family history laying on the sofa with the PC on your stretched legs? Sure you can!

At least a part of it.

Of course, it’s a question of luck: you may find high resolution images of the actual records or indexed data, or various documents… or nothing.

I do search on the internet, and I have a long list of very useful sites where I can attempt to find what I am looking for.

Personally, I prefer to deal with high resolution images of the real records because they are full of data and do not suffer from mistakes or misspell that can afflict indexed data. There are sites where namely millions images are available, making long and detailed researches possible.
